Hathway has launched broadband service on its Docsis 3.0
which is an ultra high speed network in Bangalore. It provides a speed of Fifty
Megabytes Per Second (50MBps).
Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) is
a telecommunications standard used to provide Internet access via a cable
modem. Docsis 3.0 is the latest edition to it.
Currently the price have been kept to medium range that is
of Rs. 733 per month. Rest they are creating plans for Business as well as
personal usage which will be in each of everyone.
The company has received great admiration from Mumbai and
Pune, and this was the main reason why they took this technology to a wider
range and implemented it in Bangalore.
As Hathway officials say, they will keep on investing more
capital on ultra high speed broadband network as they see this as most
prominent field of growth
Adding 151 additional Standard Definition (SD) Channel and 4
new HD channels to its list, Hathway is
targeting to be the top competitor in the field of set top box channel
subscription.
Company is raising the number of channels to 442 and the
number of HD channels have been raised to 31.
Company has come up with a new HD set top box which will
provide full HD view with Dolby Sound Technology.
